Main Street, the heart of downtown Safety Harbor, harkens back to yesteryear, but with plenty of modern conveniences.  Begin your exploration with a visit to the Chamber's Visitor Center for area maps, visitor information, souvenirs and more. Stroll past a gazebo alive with activity, festivals, and a weekly market.  Choose from a multitude of dining experiences from southern fried chicken to sushi.  Browse the shops, boutiques and galleries, and then rest under a stately grand oak tree or on a fishing pier that juts out into Old Tampa Bay.  You’ll soon see why The Hallmark Channel chose Safety Harbor as the cozy, charming setting for its movie, “Love in the Sun.”
